March 19, 2003

The second largest blizzard in Denver's history hit on March 19, 2003. The official snowfall in Denver was 31.8", but we received closer to 40" in our part of town.

At first, Linzhi wasn't sure she liked all the snow. But after a while she was smiling and happy to be out.

The Denver International Airport was closed for two days, and thousands of passengers were stranded.

The Colorado Highway Patrol gave out tickets to anyone on the highway for non-emergency reasons.

We stayed home and enjoyed the snow.
