Linzhi and Mama at the Zoo

Linzhi went to the Denver Zoo and saw all sorts of animals for the very first time. When Linzhi saw the giraffes, she used sign language to tell me that she saw a dog. The same for camels and seals. In Linzhi's mind, it seems that every four legged mammal is a dog.

She also loved seeing the peacocks walking the grounds at the zoo. She made the sign for bird each time she saw one.

The best part of the trip is when Linzhi saw an elephant for the first time. She leaned way forward in her stroller and extended her hand to offer him a cheerio!
